Conditions of Service
Wasaga Distribution is committed to providing our customers with safe and reliable electrical services.
As a licensed electricity distributor in Ontario, Wasaga Distribution is required to have its own “Conditions of Service” document to communicate its operating practices, the types and level of service available to customers within our service area, and the connection policies. This is a legal document that describes and guides how we do business in our community, including operating practices, connection policies, and types and service levels available to customers and stakeholders.
Wasaga Distribution’s Conditions of Service document applies to residential and commercial customers, contractors, developers, and suppliers who regularly conduct business with Wasaga Distribution. The document includes information on:
- Charges, payment plan options and security deposits
- Regulations for providing and receiving electrical service
- Responsibilities of Wasaga Distribution Inc.
- Responsibilities of the customer
- Details that supplement Wasaga Distribution’s obligations under the Electricity Act, the Ontario Energy Board Act and the Distribution License
